This 42 year old, award-winning company is hiring Project Managers to join their team due to growth. If you have experience in the door or door hardware industry, specialty products, or construction estimating and project management in general, this may be a career match for you. - Build solid relationships with Contractors and Customers
- Review construction plans and blueprints and develop accurate material list
- Work closely with suppliers to develop quotes and bids for Customers / Contractors
- Oversee project from quote to installation, ensuring customer requirements and timelines are met
- Create project schedule and deliverables and work cross functionally to facilitate project completion
- Coordinate delivery of materials on site for installation based on project schedule
- Troubleshoot any installation, construction plan change or material issues
- Maintain good communication with Customers / Contractors throughout the project
- Seeking candidate with 4+ years of experience in construction estimating and/or project management
- Must be detail oriented and able to manage multi-tasks
- Ability to build strong relationships with Customers and Contractors
- Experience developing material list from blueprints
- Enjoys troubleshooting and solving problems

We are looking for dependable, mechanically inclined installers to install a variety of products (lockers, operable walls, wall protection, blinds & shades, toilet partitions and accessories, etc.) on commercial projects including schools and hospitals. Preferred skills include a working knowledge of hand and power tools and basic blue print reading skills. Benefits include health insurance and retirement benefits. Compensation depends on ability and experience.
Door and Hardware Department – U. S. Specialties is a leading commercial building supply company based in Louisville. We are looking for dependable, mechanically inclined shop helpers and installers to work on metal door frames and metal and wood doors, as well as install specialty items. Some delivery driving required. Preferred skills include a working knowledge of hand and power tools. MIG welding ability a plus. Benefits include health insurance and retirement benefits.
